Baseball

The rules are as for Down the River with the following additions:
(a) All nines are wild.

(b) A player who receives an exposed three must pay a penalty of half the pot into the pot if he wishes to stay. If he does this, all threes become wild. (The penalty can be less or more It should be fairly large since the whole point o£ the game is the uncertainty whether there are going to be four wild cards or eight.)

(c) A player who receives an exposed four has the option of discarding it immediately and getting the next card in its place.

Five cards are dealt to each player as in Draw Poker, and five extra are dealt face down in the center of the table. The center cards are turned 'up one at a time, an interval of betting taking place after each card Each player makes the best poker hand he can out of his own and the center cards.

Any form of Stud ;poker can be played with the low hand winning. (Five Card Stud and English Stud make the best games.)
