Irregularities in Deal and Play

The usual customs regarding misdeals are as follows:

(a) If the dealer cannot correct a misdeal to the satisfaction of everyone there must be a fresh deal.
(b) If the dealer accidentally faces a card, it is put at the bottom of the pack and the next card is given in its place. If the dealer faces a second card, there must be a fresh deal.

(c) If a player picks up his cards and then discovers that he has an irregular number his hand is dead, but otherwise the game continues as usual.

(d) In Stud, if the dealer wrongly faces a card, that card is put at the bottom of the pack and the dealer continues to serve the following player. Finally he serves a down card to the player who missed his turn. In Seven Card Stud, if one of the first two cards of any player is faced, it is left where it is and the player receives his third card face down.
